Rising Above the Net: The Falcon Volleyball Tournament

Valley Stream South High School hosted an expeditious event, the Falcon Volleyball Tournament, at 3:00 p.m. on June 2nd, 2026. In the gymnasium, participants kept the audience engaged in high-stakes volleyball games, including teams like Team Benchmark, Team Turtles, and Team Basketball Jerseys. By the end of the tournament, our top three teams were: Team Benchmark in third place, Team Jerseys in second place, and Team Danger in first place, taking home the win. All students were encouraged to cheer on our competitive teammates during the duration of the tournament. The school hosted this amazing event to raise school spirit and engage students in friendly competition for bragging rights. The event overall left both the audience and volleyball participants excited and ready to finish out the school year with enthusiasm.
