PSAT/SAT Reminder

by Aryan Ismael and Hans Arnaldo

Valley Stream South High School will administer the SAT and PSAT on Thursday, Oct. 8, for 11th and 12th graders. The SAT is a standardized college admissions exam offered to upperclassmen, while the PSAT serves as a practice test for the SAT.

Middle school students, freshmen and sophomores will learn asynchronously from home, completing assignments posted by teachers on Microsoft Teams. Standard testing runs for one day only, and all students are expected to return to school for regular classes on Friday, Oct. 9.
