With the 2025–2026 school year coming to an end, that means finals week is also quickly approaching for students starting June 15th and lasting until June 25th. This is the time for students in grades 7–12 to go over the material learned in the past four quarters to study. Many students worry about these final exams, especially the Regents. However, South has provided lots of after-school review sessions for these Regents exams such as Biology, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Earth and Space Science. Here is how some of the Valley Stream South students are feeling about the upcoming tests.

Landen Reyes: "I'm going to pass because I'm going to Algebra 2."

Jacob Valdez: "I am feeling somewhat confident, as some courses I am better prepared in compared to others."

Carlos Taveres: "I feel like the upcoming finals will be easy as our teachers have given us lots of prep work to prepare for upcoming exams."

These are some of the many opinions of South students on their upcoming exams. Overall, South students are prepared for their finals and ready to take these exams head on so they can enjoy their summer breaks.
