On Monday, May 5th, Key Club members met with the Builders Club in room 117 at 3:15 PM to speak to them about what Key Club is and how the club works. They explained how dues work, how students earn service hours, and reasons why students should join Key Club next year. These included the facts that it is quite easy to gain service credits, and the club will appear on their transcript. Key Club is a club that is dedicated to giving back to the community while also earning service credits. Events such as car washes, park cleanups, and more are ways that Key Club gives back to the community. While at Key Club events, students can meet new people from different schools, as South's Key Club often cooperates with the Key Clubs of other schools. All in all, the meeting with the Builders Club was a great success.
