Junior Prom

On May 15, the Class of 2027 gathered for Junior Prom at the Coral House in Baldwin from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The evening was filled with great food, music, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime.
The night began with students arriving dressed in their finest attire and taking photos by the lake outside before heading into the venue. Inside, the tropical "Rio in Paradise" theme came to life through decorations and a photo booth provided by the PTSA, which captured the spirit of the theme voted on by the class. Students also enjoyed another photo booth where friends gathered throughout the night to take many pictures together.
During cocktail hour, the juniors were treated to a variety of appetizers before sitting down with friends to enjoy dinner. The food stations featured many cuisines voted on by the grade, including Asian cuisine, Mexican, and a pasta bar. Students also enjoyed a selection of tropical beverages, with piña coladas and Shirley Temples as classic favorites.
The dance floor remained packed for nearly the entire evening as students danced. One of the highlights of the night came halfway through the event when prom superlatives were announced. Throughout the evening, students had the opportunity to vote through Forms accessed by QR codes placed on each table. Categories included Life of the Party, Best Duo, Best Couple, Best Hair, Best Dressed, Shirley Temple Warrior, and Who Tore Up the Buffet?, among others. The announcements brought laughter and excitement as the class cheered on their friends.
As the evening came to an end, guests were treated to many dessert selections. An ice cream sundae bar, churro station, cakes, and cupcakes provided an ending to an already incredible night.
Junior Prom 2025 was a memorable celebration for the Class of 2027. Filled with excitement, fun, and unforgettable memories, the event was a success and a night that will be hard to top next year at senior prom.
