Recess is important for students in school. It gives kids time to relax and move around after sitting for hours in class. Some schools don’t give enough recess because they want more time for lessons, but that’s not fair to the students.
Playing outside helps kids stay healthy and strong. When we run, jump, or play games, we gain more energy and can focus better in class. Recess also helps us make friends and learn to work together, which makes school more fun and less stressful.
Every school should make it mandatory to have recess every day. It’s not just a break—it’s something that helps us learn better and feel happy. Without recess, school would be boring and wouldn’t have something fun to look forward to.
