Valley Stream Winterfest

Winterfest is an event that takes place every year from December 4 to December 7 in Valley Stream. This event, much like the annual Fall Festival, also located in Valley Stream, takes place at Arthur J. Hendrickson Park and includes various activities occurring throughout the week that community members can participate in. Winterfest is often one of the most popular and well-loved events that the Village of Valley Stream organizes, as the holiday season fills individuals with a sense of unity within their community. People can participate in crafts, view Christmas lights, and purchase items from food trucks and the holiday market. The festival is not only enjoyable, but it is also an important event that helps support and bring awareness to small, local businesses. Winterfest is an excellent way to get involved in the Valley Stream community, as the holiday spirit fills community members with a sense of warmth. Don’t worry if you miss out on this opportunity to be a part of the close-knit Valley Stream community, because throughout the entire month of December every year, there will be holiday decorations on display throughout Hendrickson Park that you can visit with your family and friends.
