Valentine’s Day at school is about romance, and it is also a time to celebrate friendships. You can purchase candy grams at South for a dollar, and by making simple notes, most students find small ways to show appreciation for the people around them and spread positive energy throughout the school. It is also a reminder to be inclusive and thoughtful, since not everyone experiences or celebrates Valentine’s Day in the same way. A few kind words or friendly gestures can make a big difference in someone’s attitude, which helps Valentine’s Day be about respect, positivity, and community.
