International Artist Day

International Artist Day is on October 25^th and is celebrated worldwide, founded by Canadian artist Chris MacClure, in 2004. This day focuses on helping artists become known and honors them and their work. Any artist, whether big or small, will appreciate being recognized on what might have seemed at first a boring Saturday!

How to contribute? All you must do is art! You can purchase a local painting, host an event on how to draw a pumpkin, paint your front door, draw a portrait, or color the back of your black jacket - anything related to “art” is acceptable! It will be a fun and memorable Saturday and will not just make you feel proud but others too. Don’t wait and miss out - go get your supplies and begin!
