Falcons' JV Basketball VS. Floral Park

Cheering for this JV Basketball game was filled with enthusiasm, suspense, and positivity. The Valley Stream Falcons were going against Floral Park. The bleachers were filled with supportive parents, engaged teachers, groups of friends, gorgeous cheerleaders, and laughter. In the first quarter, the team was off to an amazing start, the score 34 – 12. Durning the second quarter, we unfortunately began to slack, causing us to fall behind by a couple points. The game was 39-34 in favor of Floral Park. Quarter 3 and Quarter 4 the teams were head-to-head, resulting in a tie, 64-64! Now that is something you don’t see every day! Due to the unexpected tie, we went into overtime. This meant that the teams had to play an extra four minutes to break the tie. Unfortunately, Foral Park won 71-68, but the positivity still was in the air.
